Lumileds Asia Marketing Director Zhou Xuejun said at the 2015 Gaogong LED Annual Meeting that CSP can help the overall cost of the system to drop, which is more meaningful than the price drop of a single light source.

"Why is CSP chip-level packaging coming up?" Zhou Xuejun believes that CSP is a technological innovation that does not require traditional packaging, removing traditional substrates, solid crystals, wire bonding, potting, and direct PCB board patches.

"Lumileds white light CSP chip-level package design concept is to optimize the light efficiency and uniform light." Zhou Xuejun said that CSP chip heat dissipation is better, more uniform than the horizontal chip current distribution, while driving more current to increase lm / $.

In the future, the CSP package will continue to improve. As the light efficiency continues to increase, the cost will continue to decrease as the demand expands. The color temperature will be more concentrated due to the perfect application of the phosphor at the chip level.
