At present, the international photovoltaic industry test standards are written for traditional single-sided power generation products, and are not suitable for evaluating the performance of double-sided power generation components, nor for accurately testing the electrical parameters of double-sided components. This affects the component power indication, which makes the buyers and sellers have great differences in understanding of power; and such power recognition cognitive differences will directly affect the terminal system, making design and planning difficult. Dr. Christos of TÃœV Rheinland took the lead in organizing the preparation of the IEC60904 double-sided component test method and set up a discussion group to solve this problem. Yingli Solar actively participated in several rounds of draft discussions, and actively cooperated with the verification test, and eventually became one of the first companies to complete the draft test. Recently, Yingli's N-type double-sided components have obtained the first formal calibration components of the draft TÃœV Rhein double-sided component test method and obtained the final test report. In 2016, Yingli began to cooperate with China's third-party certification body, Beijing Jianheng Certification Center, and jointly compiled the “Photovoltaic Industry Association Standard for Double-sided Power Generation Modulesâ€. It has entered the joint data comparison test phase. The same year the double-sided power product certification issued by the CGC, becoming the first domestic company is currently the only one-sided power product certification. In 2016, Yingli Solar officially launched the “Panda†series of N-type double-sided power generation components, and in May 2017 officially passed the China National Acceptance Runner Base Project. The cumulative power generation of the 50MW Yingli N-type double-sided power station after 10 months of grid connection reached 60.08 million degrees, and the average monthly power generation is about 10~15% higher than that of the general polycrystalline solar power station.

Yingli and TUV participate in China's double-sided photovoltaic module testing standards will be released soon
