Ronghua Road landscape lighting design

Since the establishment of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, the urban landscape has continued to develop rapidly. This article takes Ronghua Road lighting as the starting point and discusses the improvement of the continuous development of urban night lighting.

Project Overview

Ronghua Road is located at the core of the development zone. It runs from the South Fifth Ring Road in the north to Rongchang Street in the south and has a total length of 3.5km. It is an important traffic axis and landscape axis of the development zone and is the “Changan Street” of the development zone.

Project Features

The development of Ronghua Road is the epitome of the development of the entire development zone, which is characterized by rapid and continuous development of infrastructure. Therefore, lighting not only needs to solve existing problems, but also relies on future planning to provide lighting guidelines for future urban construction. This requires lighting to be integrated with various factors, based on the present and serving the future.


Current Situation, Problem

Through many on-site investigations and analysis, there are two main problems in the status quo of Ronghua Road: First, although the planned Ronghua Road will be built as the most prosperous avenue in the development zone, the current construction has not been completed, the buildings are scattered, and the skyline is not continuous. , lack of regional characteristics.

Secondly, the current situation of most buildings without lighting, the buildings with lighting have not been unified planning light color, the brightness is more chaotic, the art level is uneven.

Solution strategy

Under the overall lighting framework of the development zone, the overall planning of the comprehensive development zone and the detailed planning of Ronghua Road will divide Ronghua Road into three sections: cultural creative leisure zone, enterprise service zone and headquarters comprehensive business zone (Figure 5), and for each section. The nature of the carrier is analyzed to arrive at a specific solution strategy.
