This photo refers to our 30M telecom monopole, which we delivery to our south-east Asian client in year 2015.
Below is the Monopole specification for the SCADA-System Project, the
Monopole height, as mentioned above.
 
a. Fixation of the Monopole: > Self Support with slip joint.
 
b. Wind speed: > 170 km/h (Operational). Survival wind speed must be more than 200km/m.
 
c. Maximum sway at the top:
> 2.0 degree with antenna loading at service wind speed (please refer the antenna loading below)
 
1) The Monopole shall be designed to carry Yagi Antenna/OMMegatro Telecom Steel Monopole
NI Antenna and microwave dish.

d. A labelled schematic drawing shall be submitted. The dimension of the pole (internal & external) shall be provided. All design calculation for the loading shall be included.
 
e. Location for feeder running must be on the external/outside. Left side of the cable ladder.
 
f. Climbing Ladder:
> There should be provision for climbing ladder up to the top of the Monopole, use step climbing ladder.
   There should not be any gap between connected ladders.
g. Materials:
> Monopole should be manufactured from steel (high tensile as required) and finished with a hot-dipped galvanized coating in accordance with BS 729 or equivalent.
> Slip joint must be designed so the sections are retained over time.

For this 30M telecom monopole and accessories, Our MEGATRO performs in-house design activities by PLS software or other software. Our Engineering Department is boasting of highly qualified engineering who are conversant with international codes and standards. The work is carried out with extensive use of CAE/CAD via a large of computer network. The computer hardware & drafting software are liked to the CNC workshop equipment for downloading of information thereby eliminating error and saving valuable production time.
 
After fabrication all poles are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot Dip Galvanized. Poles are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers.
 
Moreover, we offer cost effective range of development and installation service regarding as an additional installation service. These are further, designed for both government and civil communications and suitable for both far-off and short distance communications. For additional protection, we cover these with protective shield to prevent the radioactive fallouts.
