Breakthrough in high-efficiency semiconductor lighting key materials technology research and development projects

To improve the industrial development environment, LED epitaxial structure design, chip structure design, device packaging, low-cost LED driver chip and module development are carried out. Research on high-current-driven thin-film semiconductor lighting technology; on the basis of the completion of the key technology layout of semiconductor lighting epitaxial chips and device packaging in Phase I and Phase II projects, the third phase of the project focused on the research of “Ten Cities and Ten Thousands” semiconductor lighting application technology, with a focus on development. LED lighting module with high luminous efficiency, low cost and long life, low cost, high reliability and standardized LED lighting products; mastered mass production technology of high thermal conductivity diamond bonded composite substrate; developed thermal resistance analysis test for thin film LED System equipment; developed a thin-film LED near-field distribution photometer, which can realize near-field and far-field measurement at the same time; realize the application demonstration of LED in municipal lighting, plant lighting, airport, medical and other fields.

During the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” period, in order to further promote the technological innovation and industrialization development of China's semiconductor lighting materials, the Ministry of Science and Technology deployed a special project of “strategic advanced electronic materials” to develop third-generation semiconductor materials and semiconductor lighting as key special projects. One of the key points to support. The special deployment will further lay a solid foundation for China to develop into a strong country in the production, consumption and export of semiconductor lighting products, supporting the industrial transformation of the global lighting industry and the sustainable development of energy conservation and emission reduction.
