2. ABS-S set-top box function overview:

PSI/SIengine: In the application software, program search and EPG information need to obtain detailed data information of each table in PSI and SI. In addition, some data in the table need to be acquired or monitored in real time by software, so how to filter these tables And parsing needs to be organized in a certain way. PSI/SIengine effectively organizes the monitoring, filtering and analysis of PSI/SI tables, enhancing the real-time performance of software functions and the readability of code.

UI system: build a set-top box interface development platform, providing a rich variety of controls and powerful features to improve the efficiency of interface development.

NODE: Manages set-top box data storage, reduces fragmentation of flash, and ensures efficient storage and fast extraction of data.

Search: The receiving mechanism of the related table is built on the PSI/SI engine to complete the program search, sorting and saving of the set-top box. Program search includes single frequency search and automatic search.

EPG: The receiving mechanism of the related table is established on the PSI/SI engine. When the demultiplexing is not filtered to the EPG data, the EPG module is in a sleep state. When there is data, the EPG module can effectively and quickly parse the stored data. This can achieve the purpose of updating new data and deleting expired data in real time without wasting system resources.

Book: Implements the reserved program function, and the appointment time is automatically switched to the program reserved by the user.

Time: Implement two functions, one is to provide system time for the set-top box, and the other is to provide timer function for the above application and other modules in the same layer.

AV: Mainly for some operations on audio and video. Including playback programs, channel settings and reading, volume adjustment and reading, volume level settings and reading, TV broadcast system reading and setting.

Dbase: Call NODE to store, read, delete, modify, and increase the data of the set-top box.

Informationservice: Implements the filtering, collation, XML parsing and interface menu processing of information service data.
