Look at our annual export of energy-saving lamps is increasing, and the export business is concentrated in developed countries and regions in Europe and America, which fully shows that most of our enterprises already have the ability to produce qualified energy-saving lamps.
Reporter: What do you think is the main reason for the low quality pass rate of energy-saving lamp products?
Chen: The industry technology threshold is low, the number of enterprises is too large, and the competition is excessive. In addition, the problem of the enterprise itself is the fundamental problem. At present, the industry is still in the primary development stage. The enterprise is still in the primitive accumulation stage. Chen: Consumers’ confidence in the consumption of energy-saving lamps needs to be reshaped. From the perspective of the association, I think we should start from the following two aspects: first, guidance; second, guidance. For the time being, in terms of guidance, we are now actively promoting the “Quality Self-Regulation of Energy-Saving Lamp Industryâ€; in terms of guidance, we have accumulated a joint electric light source quality inspection center to provide technical guidance for enterprises.

Chen: Industry self-discipline is based on relevant national laws and regulations, and it must have certain restraining effects on enterprises. However, as an association, we have no power to impose sanctions or penalties on companies that violate industry self-discipline. The role of our association is to promote and promote. As for the effectiveness of self-regulation in the industry, it depends on the consciousness of the company.
Reporter: Some people think that the fundamental reason why domestic industry self-discipline is difficult to implement is the issue of integrity. Do you agree with this view?
