Yesterday, the reporter learned from Fuzhou Customs that the EU has recently decided to cancel the anti-dumping duty on China's energy-saving lamps, which may accelerate the export growth of energy-saving lamps in our province.
According to relevant persons of Fuzhou Customs, after the EU imposed a five-year high anti-dumping duty on China's energy-saving lamps in 2001, many domestic enterprises were forced to withdraw from the EU market. In March this year, the EU implemented an environmental protection and energy conservation plan to promote the use of energy-saving lamps. It is planned to cancel the anti-dumping duty on China's energy-saving lamps in October this year. This is undoubtedly good news for Fujian, the main base for the production and export of energy-saving lamps in China.
